130 Years of Coastal Service - Hurtigruten 130 years | CaptainsVoyage

On July 2nd 2023, Hurtigruten celebrated it's 130th year of almost uninterrupted coastal service along the Norwegian Coast. Hurtigruten started it's inaugural departure from Port of Trondheim on July 2nd 1893 with the steam-ship Vesteraalen under the command of Captain Richard With. 130 years later, in Port of Trondheim, coastal steamer "Nordlys" continued in the best of tradition.
