We spend our second day at Maui on board the NCL Pride of America cruise ship having a "sea day" not at sea. We go to lunch at the Cadillac Diner where the food was great and we met the coolest waiter, Isah. Unfortunately he wasn't our waiter. Our waitress ended up being... not very good, but the other staff took care of us and we enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip, buffalo wings, BBQ wings, a burger, loco moco, a fish sandwich and fish and chips. We finish off with a brownie raspberry swirl cheesecake. We debated about trying the second main dining room, Liberty, which is the more formal of the two main dining rooms, since our first main dining room experience at Skyline was so bad. We do a little relaxing above the pool deck at the Key West Bar and Grill where I try the drink of the day, the Rebellious Fish, and we enjoy the view. Then we head into the Hollywood Theater to make a kukui nut lei with Moana, our Hawaiian Ambassador. Jodi and I then relax for the afternoon at the Oasis Adult only pool area with a couple drinks, then we finish off the day at the Liberty main dining room, which turns out much better than our previous experience at the Skyline main dining room. We try the white cheddar potato soup and gorgonzola salad to start. Then sirloin, rigatoni primavera with pesto sauce and bread crusted red trout for our main courses. For desert we finish off with chocolate lava cake, orange sherbet and tiramisu.
