Carnival Sunrise just underwent a massive renovation in 2019, making her a lot like sister-ship Carnival Sunshine. Carnival Cruise Line first announced that they were going to make this renovation in summer 2018. Carnival Sunrise Deck Tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qa_zRoYq1gA&t Some of the changes the ship saw during the 60-day dry dock were the addition of the Cloud 9 Spa, a two-deck adults-only serenity area, a sushi eatery called Bonsai Sushi, the Italian place called Cucina del Capitano, Waterworks Aqua Park, Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ Smokehouse, a new Java Blue Cafe on deck four in place of the old library, RedFrog Pub, a new Piano Bar 88, and over 100 new staterooms. The ship already had Guy's Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina from a dry dock back in 2013, as well as other Fun Ship 2.0 features.
