June 13, 2026 In this video, Stephanie and I bring you along for 24 hours in our life as cruise ship musicians aboard the Carnival Encounter. This was one of those days that perfectly explains how strange, exhausting, and beautiful ship life can be. One night we were performing multiple shows onboard, and the next morning we were hiking a volcano in Papua New Guinea with crew members from all over the world… before heading right back to the ship to perform again that night. Over the course of 24 hours, we played six shows, explored an incredible port, spent time with some amazing friends, and got another reminder of why this life at sea is so hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. Cruise ship life can be tiring. It can be chaotic. But sometimes, it gives you days you’ll never forget.
