Creator's Key Takeaways

I'm still very impressed with what I've seen so far. And nothing has felt overly busy to me, which is a huge surprise.

One of the great things about the Royal Caribbean app is that you'll be able to see all the events taking place every day of your cruise in advance.

The theater production shows on board Royal Caribbean are the real deal.

Nassau is a port that really can divide opinion. It's very touristy, yes, but I've always found it fun, colorful, and the people to be friendly.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Come to the pool area about 5:30 PM on a sea day to avoid lines for the slides.
Use the Royal Caribbean app to reserve seats for shows in advance.
Explore quiet spots on the ship to find relaxation away from busy areas.

YouTube Video Description

Following on from embarkation day, here’s the first feature-length vlog about this one week cruise on Royal Caribbean Symphony the Seas, the largest cruise ship I’ve ever sailed. Will it be too busy and chaotic or has Royal nailed this Oasis class experience? In this episode, a sea day from Cape Liberty, New Jersey gives me plenty of time to start exploring the ship and trying some of the crazy facilities on board (hello zip-wiring over the ship!), the pool areas, adults-only solarium, dining options, bars and entertainment (ice-skating show at sea, anyone?). We then spend an afternoon in Port Canaveral, Florida, on a pontoon boat wildlife spotting! The next day we arrive into Nassau, the Bahamas, and head off on a speedboat to Rose Island to meet some little (and big) piggies. Throw in information about the daily programme dress code, drinks packages, plus so much more, make sure you have some nibbles and drinks to hand! Let’s do this! Don’t forget to like this video, subscribe and turn on notifications for bi-weekly cruise and travel vlogs plus my Monday night lives!
