A Final visit to "Oriana" before she leaves the P&O Fleet - 05/07/2019

One of my earliest memories is visiting P&O Cruises' "Oriana" in Southampton in 1995 when she was brand new and revolutionary to the fleet. Since then I have done two cruises on her, one to the Mediterranean in 2003 and one to the Baltic in 2008. Both I have fond memories of and definitely in my top ten of cruises that I have done. But alas, all things must come to an end as "Oriana" has been sold to a Chinese Cruising Company and will be leaving the fleet in August 2019 to become "Piano Land" in the Far East. Today I therefore paid a final visit to "Oriana" to see her magnificent interiors one last time - and to also see what she looked like after becoming an adults only ship. Felt wrong not seeing where the Kids Clubs used to be. Safe to say I was a bit emotional when I disembarked her. Here is a video I took whilst aboard her earlier today. Enjoy.
