Friday 26th April 2013 was a very busy day for Southampton Docks with four cruise ships in port. Cunard's "Queen Mary 2" & "Queen Victoria" returned from their World Cruises that had begun on January 10th. "Queen Mary 2" was moored in the 'Ocean' Terminal whilst "Queen Victoria" was at the 'Mayflower' Terminal. Also in were Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Black Watch" moored at the 'City' Terminal whilst the brand-new AIDA Cruises "AIDAstella" berthed at the 'QEII' Terminal. In this video we see "AIDAstella" arriving at around 7am from Le Havre. She first sailed past the 'QEII' Terminal before turning rather than turn in the River Hamble and reverse around. The cargo ship "Syros" also came in at the same time and moored alongside "Black Watch". Later on, we see "Queen Victoria" departing and sailing past "Queen Mary 2" & "AIDAstella". "Queen Victoria" had left around 16:50 heading for Hamburg. "Black Watch" was next to depart at 18:30 (two hours late) heading for Lisbon having had some assistance from the tug "Svitzer Sarah". Finally, "Queen Mary 2" departing at 19:00 for New York and saluting with "AIDAstella" as she passes. "AIDAstella" was booked to depart at 20:00 but did not leave until 20:50 heading for Invergordon.
