YouTube Video Description

Hello Friends! Welcome back to the Port of Indecision I’m Ray and today I’m getting ready and packing for our upcoming Alaskan Cruise and Land vacation. I know that I’ve had a great deal of thoughts and questions on what I need to bring so I had the idea to do a before and after video of packing for an Alaska trip just to see what I ended up forgetting or on the flip side what I carried with me for a few weeks that I never needed. Layers, light waterproof jackets, good walking shoes preferably waterproof, and a hat and gloves are the essentials; Alaska can be cold as well as warm and sunny. I’ll be packing for a 17-day trip with 3 of them in Vancouver Canada and the 14 other days in Alaska with 7 on a cruise ship and 7 on a land tour. When you’re packing for an Alaska cruise, you’ll want to plan for any kind of weather, from hot sun to Athereal / ethereal mist and rain showers—often in the same day. So let’s jump in and start packing by looking at what type of clothing we are going to bring: Here is what I brought: 4 pair jeans 14 t-shirts 14 underwear 11 hiking socks 3 dress socks 3. pullovers 1. raincoat 1. puffer jacket 1. lightweight jacket 1. long underwear 1 thermal shirt 1 swimsuit 4. shorts 1. waterproof pants 1. pair waterproof hiking boots 1. pair sneakers 1. pair black dress shoes 2. pair gloves 2. ski caps 1. pair sunglasses 2. pair dress slacks (blue / black) 3. long sleeve dress shirets 1. dress sweater 1. set workout clothes 2 belts Everything else is being brought by Patti!
