About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Alaska Marine Highway System has been operating since the mid 1960's. A state run ferry service. This presentation has been put together, following my cruise of Alaska in 2019. Featuring some of the ferries i photographed in port or passing. That serve the 3,500 miles of the Alaska ferry routes. Some of which are quite old, but nice to see them still running. They will need to be replaced in the not too distant future. Including two new locally built ferries, which have / will replaced some of the older ferries.
