Follow along with us as we board the beautiful AmaKristina, a luxurious river cruise ship from cruise line AmaWaterways. The AmaKristina sails primarily on the Rhone River in France. In this episode, we share a full ship tour of all the luxurious public spaces you'll find on the AmaKristina. From the easy on/off because you're docked close in to town, or a peek at the restaurants, lounges and sundeck, this is an episode you should watch through to the end! What are the key features of the AmaKristina? Like most ships sailing on the rivers in Europe, the AmaKristina is a long boat in its design, and it has to maintain a relatively narrow profile to fit through certain rivers and definitely as the ship navigates the locks along the rivers it travels. Rather than the 15-plus decks you'll find on an ocean cruise ship, the river cruise ship has four main levels. The AmaWaterways team gives their decks musical names, such as the Piano Deck, the Cello Deck and the Violin Deck . . and then there is the always popular Sun Deck, whose name is self-explanatory!
