We are spending the afternoon, evening, and tomorrow in Natchez instead of a single day in Vicksburg & Natchez. Went on excursions for day 4 back to Louisiana to Frogmore Plantation which is now a farm and cotton gin. Then we visited Longwood which is an unfinished mansion in Natchez. It was started just before the war, so the family only lived in the basement as the upper floors were being built. Today those upper floors remain as just framing. Hubby has had his fill of plantations so luckily tomorrow has something different!
