About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Royal Caribbean is known for it's massive production shows. On a smaller level they are known for their games like the Quest and Love and Marriage. With the introduction of the Quantum of the Seas they added a new game show, the first game show with a full production behind it known as Name That Tune. Originally designed to be the main event for the smaller Pop Up Name That Tune games that would occur around the ship in random places and times the main game show is a full production show in itself complete with the Royal Theater singers and dancers. When Quantum went to Asia Pop Up Name That Tune was lost in favor of an audition period prior to the show, but the show lives on with the Anthem of the Seas each sailing. For our sailing the show took place the night of the 7th following a day in St. Maarten. The show was hosted by the Cruise Director, Clodagh O'Connor. The qualifying game went into overtime when it ran out of contestants that could qualify for the main event. That led to some staged songs to try and fill the rest of the contestant slots up, an attempt that still was only partially successful. This obviously led to what may be one of the longest games of Name That Tune!
