Anthem of the Seas: San Juan, Puerto Rico Arrival & Departure on May 8th, 2018

On May 8th, 2018 the Anthem of the Seas made a stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Battered by Hurricane Irma 9 months earlier the island still suffers from wide spread power outages effecting many of the citizens, but it's open for business and the city of Puerto Rico itself is ready. Some damage is still visible to the actual piers and near by building, but compared to St. Maarten it's purely cosmetic. The Anthem of the seas began her journey into the port just after sunrise creating a beautiful scene over the Castillo San Felipe del Morro at the harbor entrance. Throughout the dat scattered showers caused interruptions, but things remained mainly dry. At 12:17 the Anthem of the Seas was joined by the one other ship she'd spend time with on this sailing, the Carnival Sunshine.
