This is a great feature especially in some of the remote locations alone with Mother Nature. The previously mentioned X-BOW, designed by Norwegian ship designer Ulstein’s, is an inverted bow concept which allows for gentler sea crossings and reduced emissions, not to mention a comfier ride! The newest ship will also feature several intuitive platforms to help the ease of exploration directly from the ship. The zodiac launching platform is a vital part in getting up close and personal, these specifically designed platforms allow the zodiacs to be loaded and offloaded much quicker, meaning more time exploring! The custom-built activity platform is host to a whole load of additional activities such as sea kayaking, diving and paddle boarding. After a day exploring, the accommodation on board offers a comfortable space to take 5 and relax, with modern décor, plenty of space, all en-suite cabins and a room with a view throughout the entire ship. Greg Mortimer will also be the first Aurora expedition’s ship to have balcony cabins on board, getting you closer than ever before to the destinations. There are also plenty of options on board so you really can cruise how you want to, from a twin or triple Aurora Stateroom, to balcony staterooms and suites. If you want to really heighten your experience, there is the Junior Suite which is situated on Deck 7, near the top of the ship with a separate lounge and sleeping area and your own private balcony.
