About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

Hey Sailors, As a crew member, you will have two jobs onboard. The job you were hired to do and your safety duty. Although cruise ships are quite safe, there is, of course, a risk that an emergency could occur and you will need to know what to do should this happen. The reason I felt the need to make a video on this is that most people (myself included) don’t realise quite how much you have to learn when joining a cruise ship. Although there are a lot of safety procedures that vary ship to ship, there are a few things that remain the same. That's what we are going through today so you can join your new ship already knowing the basics. we will go over emergency cards, assembly stations, code names, alarms and what they mean, lifeboats and rafts, what to take, and different jobs you could have during an emergency. There will be a lot to learn when you first get onboard but hopefully watching this will make understanding it all, that much easier.
