Welcome to Hubbard’s Journey. We are embarking on a yearlong Land-Cruise Journey, Thanks for coming along. Our second trip of the Journey has us on the Carnival Freedom sailing across the Atlantic ultimately ending in Barcelona Spain. Today we entered the beautiful waters of Bermuda. We Started our day with a glimpse of the captain’s bridge navigating into the port and the process of tying this huge ship to the dock. We then moved on to our breakfast before heading on to land for the day. We captured the Bermuda port complex, public and private transportation fees for ferry, bus, and taxis. Our on-foot walking tour of Kings Wharf area Diamonds international, Dock Pharmacy, Clock Tower Mall, Bone Fish Bar & Grill. We continued by foot towards Woody’s Bar & Grill. Stopping at the Glass Beach. Wow, this is a cool beach. It’s worth checking out. I would keep my shoes on, LOL. After Glass beach we headed to Woody’s. What a great spot for a bar. This seaside bar has a good vibe and decent prices considering everything in Bermuda is Expensive. Andrea walked over to the dock area and walked down the stairs into the water with no one around and slipped on the stairs in the water and dislocated her big toe and a few abrasions. She’s ok, The Elephant beers helped her foot walking back to the port. On our way back to port we met this sweet woman Ilene AKA “The Woman in Red”. We made our 10,000 steps a day challenge. If you are up for the challenge, please post in the comments your steps for the day. Thank you for coming along on our journey. Happy Cruising & Traveling! Bermuda is a British island territory in the North Atlantic Ocean known for its pink-sand beaches such as Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay. Its massive Royal Naval Dockyard complex combines modern attractions like the interactive Dolphin Quest with maritime history at the National Museum of Bermuda. The island has a distinctive blend of British and American culture, which can be found in the capital, Hamilton.
