***Note: this was filmed in November and I'm not encouraging anyone to travel during this time, only sharing information for future travels. Stay home and stay safe!*** On our Bermuda cruise with Norwegian (on the Norwegian Escape) we stopped in Bermuda for a total of 2.5 days. Here's a look at some of the activities we did and sights we saw while we were in port. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating so it limited our sight-seeing on the first evening, but we prepped for the weather on day 2 and went out on our own to explore the island. Day 2: We purchased bus tickets at the Bermuda visitor's centre at the Royal Naval Dockyard and took the bus to Hamilton and transferred to get to the Crystal Caves. Due to the large crowd and wait times, we ended up only seeing the Fantasy Cave, but it was still worth the trip. Across the road was the famous Swizzle Inn, so we stopped there for lunch before continuing on our bus journey to St. George's. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has some lovely buildings, shops and scenery. From here we took the free NCL ferry back to the Royal Naval Dockyard where we spend some time exploring and then we go back on the bus to head to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Day 3: We went on a mini-bus island tour and stopped in Hamilton for some sightseeing, St. George's for a tour and sightseeing, John Smith's Bay Beach, and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. The weather was much nicer so we got to explore a bit more than the previous day. ********************* Follow me on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theaveraget...
