A FULL DAY in New Orleans, Louisiana as part of an amazing fall road trip - we explore New Orlean's famous \ Garden District, The French Quarter, a vampire bar, beignets, the Mississippi river, eat gumbo and tacos and so much more...! We take you along as we ride the St. Charles Streetcar, stroll the beautiful, historic Garden District, with its stately homes, and of course visit a few of Anne Rice's former homes, one of which is the inspiration for the home of the Mayfair Witches, and we visit the Garden District book store, where Anne Rice, the author of Interview with the Vampire, the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witches chronicles, etc., used to do book releases and signings, and we meet the cute bookstore dog! Standing on the corner of 1239 First Street in the Garden District, in front of the Mayfair Witches home, is every Anne Rice's fan dream come true! Delicious tacos and drinks on Magazine Street, taking the historic streetcar back to the French Quarter for beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde, a stroll along the Mississippi River and Moon Walk, walk down Bourbon Street and Royal Street, Jackson Square, St. Luis Cathedral, checking out the Boutique Du Vampyre and a secret Vampire speakeasy bar on the second floor of a jazz club on Bourbon Street for drinks at Potions (above Fritzel's), dinner at the Gumbo Shop, and so much more! A beautiful, fun, adventure of a day exploring one of the most beautiful, cool, vibrant cities in the USA, eating delicious food, wonderful drinks, meeting cool people, and seeing historic and modern sites!
