Day 2 is here!! Today I play with Kona outside in the bitter cold, go to a local bingo game to benefit my friends granddaughter fighting Leukemia, introduce Chip on a Ship and make Gumdrop cookies! Here's the Gumdrop cookie recipe! https://www.northpole.com/Kitchen/Cookbook/Gum-Drop-Cookies-723 Bake Time: 10 minutes Ingredients: 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup margarine 3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup white sugar 2 eggs 2 cups gum drops, cut up 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups oatmeal Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, margarine, and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and soda; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and gun drops.
