"Black Watch", "Azura", "Oriana" & "Queen Mary 2" depart from Southampton - 04/12/2012

Tuesday 4th December saw four ships in Southampton Docks - three being Carnival UK-owned. Cunard's "Queen Mary 2" was docked at the 'QEII' Terminal whilst P&O Cruises' "Azura" & "Oriana" were at the 'Ocean' & 'Mayflower' Berths respectively and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Black Watch" was at the 'City' Terminal. All four ships were due to depart at 16:30. "Black Watch" was the first to get underway, following behind the supply ship "Hartland Point". She was followed by "Azura" who departed at around 16:50 and saluted with "Queen Mary 2" as she went. Both "Black Watch" and "Azura" were heading for Lisbon. Next to depart was "Oriana" at around 17:10 who also saluted with "Queen Mary 2" as she passed heading for Zeebrugge. Finally, "Queen Mary 2" slipped her mooring at around 17:45 and reversed into the River Hamble to turn around before heading off towards Madeira. "Black Watch" will return on Thursday 13th December with "Oriana" on Friday 14th and "Queen Mary 2" & "Azura" on Saturday 15th. Viewed from Hythe Marina.
