Join us in Gran Canaria as we stop off on our Canary Islands Cruise on board the P&O Azura ship. We dock in the port of Las Palmas and walk across to Playa De Las Canteras for a coffee and a walk along the beachfront promenade. From there we take a public taxi across to Maspalomas and the popular town of Playa Del Ingles. We take a walk around the Yumbo centre before enjoying a Hard Rock Cafe for lunch above Playa Del Ingles beachfront. From Playa Del Ingles we walk along the sea front taking in some lovely views of the Maspalomas Sand dunes and an ice cream stop. From there it was another short taxi ride to Las Meloneras beachfront, one of our favorite areas to take a walk and do a bit of shopping. Overall it was a fantastic stop off on our cruise itinerary and we had some wonderful winter weather.
