Both P&O UK and Virgin Voyages have also confirmed that vaccines will be required for all guests and crew onboard their ships. Carnival Australia has further committed to the domestic cruise market restarting first, converting all of their voyages up to the end of November to domestic Australian cruises. MSC have also announced their leadership team for their new ultra-luxury cruise endeavour. The as yet unnamed company will launch in 2023 with a purpose built luxury ship designed to carry around 1000 passengers and will compete with the likes of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Oceania, Azamara and others of the same ilk.
