Carnival's new rule that guests who have bought drinks uh bought a drinks package have to wait 10 minutes between drink orders has stirred up some debate amongst cruisers.

Is this a necessary rule to slow down those who are indulging too quickly or is an overbearing restriction that takes away from holiday fun?

While this isn't necessarily a vacation ruining measure, it can certainly add inconvenience to a relaxed vacation.

I don't think it's going to affect me. You know, I do drink. I do partake of the drink package, but I'm usually not ordering a drink every five minutes or even 10 minutes.
