Creator's Key Takeaways

We are for seven nights. The itinerary changed, but we have some great ports.

The Port of Miami traffic direction. Basically, they had rerouted all all the lanes of traffic.

Once you get on board, you just forget all about it.

We're very happy with the inside room.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Count the number of ships in port the day you're going to Miami.
Consider self-assist disembarkation early to avoid traffic.
Book excursions through the ship for convenience.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We’re LIVE from Celebrity Beyond on embarkation day! After boarding the ship in Port of Miami, we followed our usual Dockside embarkation traditions: • Completed muster • Dropped our bags in the stateroom and picked up our key cards • Headed straight to the Sunset Bar for our traditional first drinks — a mojito and a daiquiri Once those important cruise traditions were complete, we jumped on a live stream from our stateroom to spend some time chatting with the Dockside Crew before sail away. We chose the stateroom for this live because it’s one of the few quiet places on embarkation day — the pool deck, bars, and sail away party can get pretty lively — so this gave us a chance to connect with everyone without the background noise. One thing we also talk about in this live is the traffic getting into the Port of Miami, which was honestly the toughest part of embarkation day. Our Uber took about 1.5 hours to reach the terminal because of heavy port traffic. It had nothing to do with Celebrity or the terminal itself — it’s simply how busy the Port of Miami can get on cruise days. It’s definitely something future cruisers should plan extra time for. During the live we chat about: • Our embarkation experience in Miami • First impressions of Celebrity Beyond • Our stateroom for this sailing • What we’re most excited about for the week ahead • The videos we’ll be filming during this cruise This cruise is part of a back-to-back adventure, with Celebrity Silhouette coming up next — so make sure to subscribe because we’ll be sharing a full series from both cruises including: • Daily Cruise Vlogs • Ship Tours • Food Tours • Top 10 Things To Do videos • Cruise tips and shorts from both sailings Stay Connected Website: https://docksidetravel.ca Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/docksidetravel Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/docksidetravel Please Note: While we share our opinions and personal experiences in this video, it is for your entertainment.
