We made our way to New Orleans the day before Mardi Gras. We did a lot of driving around time today - first to my ccousins, then to lunch in the burbs, and finally to the French Quarter. After dinner we went to the casino, but not for long, and then ran into a parade! Our spot was only a couple blocks from the end and we weren't that close to the floats for good catches, but it was fun and not crowded.
