About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Today we sailed from the Port of Indecision to the lovely island of Curacao courtesy of the Celebrity Equinox. This is our second visit to the beautiful island of Curacao, we had beautiful sunny weather on our first visit as you can will see in the video, but today we are starting off with rain for our visit to Shete Boka National Park. Today we will be touring with the Samurai Tour Company of Curacao which is owned and operated by Colin and Nicole. Our tour guides for this journey through the Shete Boka National Park will be Colin and Simon. In Shete Boka National Park the waves pound against the coral rock formations and the saltwater splashes high into the air. We will be making four stops today starting at Boka Pistol, then Boka Kalki, followed by Boka Tabla, and finally Boka Wandomi. Boka Pistol, where huge waves burst into the sky with gunfire like explosions and panoramic views from the flat limestone hills. Boka Kalki where sea turtles are sometimes seen to lay their eggs. Boka Tabla, where huge waves thunder into an underground cavern. Steps cut into the rocks and we went directly into the mouth of the cavern; we were able to sit on the very edge and watch the surf roll in and yes we got wet! The last stop is the beautiful Boka Wandomi and the limestone bluffs that lead to an incredible natural bridge. Even though we did not have the usual Caribbean weather for our stay in Curacao, the excursion was amazing. Samurai Tours was the best and the guides Colin and Simon were so friendly and accommodating you felt like you had known them your whole life. What a great island, national park, and cruise!
