Celebrity Cruises' Celebrity Equinox launched in 2009 as part of the Solstice-Class vessels. These were the first cruise ships to feature the Lawn Club with over half an acre of real grass on the top decks. In 2019, Celebrity Equinox underwent a massive dry dock that revamped every stateroom and introduced new dining, bars and other venues bringing the existing fleet in line with the latest Edge-Class ships. From 2022 through 2024, guests onboard Celebrity Equinox can sail year-round itineraries to the Caribbean from Port Everglades, Florida.
