In this video, I’m cruising with Costa Cruises, onboard Costa Diadema. I’m on this cruise as part of a 14-night cruise around parts of Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, including the Canary Islands. Today, let me take you ashore in a brand new port for me: Cádiz, Spain to show you what it’s like to visit here. I’ve never been here before, so my plan for today is to head off the ship and wander to explore - this is often my favourite way to spend time on a cruise, rather than booking costly excursions. Costa is also a new cruise line for me, so I’m really enjoying experiencing a little more every day. Since this cruise, I’ve also tried more Costa cruise ships, so ‘watch this space’ to see the more modern side of Costa on their new flagships (Smeralda and Toscana)!
