Creator's Key Takeaways
I have been on much larger ships in more favorable conditions and they've handled it so much more badly than Borealis.
I felt safe at all times. The ship wasn't pitching as much as I thought it would be.
The crew have been really kind and helpful to passengers as well.
I love love love the cruise. I love them.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
After 90 cruises I finally experience the force of Mother Nature as we sail from Narvik, Northern Norway, to Stavanger and through the North Sea on Fred Olsen Borealis. 2 sea days turn into 4 and we have nowhere to shelter other than making it to the other side of a force 12 storm with hurricane winds. In this vlog I document those 4 sea days, each day getting rougher, and the eventual awe of high seas and how passengers, crew and our wonderful ship, MS Borealis, managed, including reassurance from Dr Stephen Payne OBE, Naval Architect of this very ship. The calm after the storm, I enjoy time with my group cruise members as we enjoy a martini class experience, dancing, singing and party to the end onboard Borealis! All this plus venues on board, each meal reviewed (including the brand new Asian menu at Colours and Tastes) and the disembarkation process.
