We’ve just returned from a 12-day British Isles cruise on the Regal Princess, and today I’m sharing what stood out the most—what I loved, and what didn’t quite meet expectations. Plus, I’ll walk you through our experience flying home from Heathrow and what to watch for if you’re traveling soon. Here’s what we cover: 🛫 Heathrow Travel Tips – Transfer times from Southampton, Delta/Virgin Atlantic check-in quirks, and an update on the UK’s new liquid-free security rules. 🚢 Regal Princess Review – Entertainment, activities, and crew were excellent, but there were noticeable challenges with short-staffing and excursion changes. 🧳 What Surprised Us Most – Fewer enrichment talks and excursions not matching what was originally listed. Why I’m leaning toward more independent tours in the future. 🌍 Looking Ahead – We’re already planning to return to the British Isles in September 2026 on Majestic Princess for a group cruise! ❤️ Personal Note – A family loss reminded us all to live intentionally and not keep putting off our “someday” plans.
