This past week we enjoyed a fantastic vacation on Celebrity Equinox. While we relaxed however, thousands of residents of Grand Bahama and Abaco Island in the Bahamas were left homeless by Hurricane Dorian, one of the strongest storms on record. Toward the end of our sailing, we were diverted to Freeport to drop off emergency relief supplies to the people of the Bahamas. This was just one gesture of many from the cruise lines that have such a close relationship with this Caribbean nation, but we wanted to share a little bit about how we were witness to Celebrity crew and guests stepping up to help.
