It doesn’t get more coordinated than this — a perfect triple departure from Vancouver Harbour, where three cruise ships departed in a sequence that felt like a choreographed dance on the water. And dodging tankers, cargo ships and ferries before, during and after. The order of departure mirrored their morning arrival: Celebrity Solstice, followed by Holland America’s Noordam, and finally Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas. Each cruise ship departed at precisely the right moment, as if taking their turn on stage. Embarkation day for all three ships in Vancouver on August 17, 2025. ✨ Celebrity Solstice was the first to push back, slipping away from Canada Place with her signature elegance. Her departure marked the beginning of what felt like a floating parade. Just as she was making her way out into Burrard Inlet, Noordam began her move, never one to waste time. She cut through the water with her classic HAL presence, framed by clear mountain views and bright, shifting skies. Then, to cap it off, Serenade of the Seas began her departure, gliding out diagonally before executing a smooth pivot to set herself up alongside Solstice’s earlier track — a maneuver that lived up to her name. But it wasn’t just a cruise ship showcase — this was one of the busiest afternoons Vancouver Harbour has seen this season. In addition to the three cruise liners, three tankers and two cargo ships maneuvered in and out of the harbour before, between, and after the cruise traffic. The result was a nonstop sequence of maritime movements — a floating merry-go-round of ships, each slotting into the schedule without a hitch. The weather, after the extreme rains of the previous day, played along beautifully. The North Shore Mountains stood crisp and clear in the background, while clouds swirled and shifted overhead, creating an ever-changing backdrop for the departures. The timing, the conditions, and the sheer number of vessels made this one of the most memorable departure sequences of Vancouver’s 2025 cruise season. For ship enthusiasts, Vancouver locals, or anyone who loves maritime scenes, this live-recorded sequence shows exactly why Canada Place is one of the world’s most exciting cruise terminals. The harbour is not just a departure point — it’s a stage where timing, precision, and beauty meet. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to watch multiple ships leave in perfect timing while commercial shipping traffic weaves through the same channel, this video captures it all: the scale of the vessels, the skill of harbour pilots, and the raw energy of a major Pacific Northwest port. 🌊 Featured ships: Celebrity Solstice (Celebrity Cruises) Noordam (Holland America Line) Serenade of the Seas (Royal Caribbean International) ⚓ This video is part of our ongoing coverage of Vancouver’s 2025 cruise season, where each arrival and departure tells its own story against the stunning backdrop of British Columbia’s coast. #Vancouver #CanadaPlace #CruiseShipDeparture #CelebritySolstice #Noordam #SerenadeOfTheSeas #VancouverHarbour #CruisePortVancouver #AlaskaCruiseSeason #VancouverWebcam #VancouverMountains #BusyHarbour #CruisePort #VancouverCruises #HarbourTraffic #embarkation #embarkationday
