Cruise Ships & Other Vessels in Portsmouth - 22/04/2017

A trip down to Portsmouth Harbour for the first of a small number of visits to see Cruise Ships that are visiting the port on Saturday 22nd April 2017. Today's visiting Cruise Ship was the MV "Deutschland" which was the first call on an 18-night cruise from Hamburg to the Canary Islands and Western Europe being chartered by Phoenix-Reisen. This was her first charter cruise of 2017 having recently returned from her latest stint as "World Odyssey" for Semester at Sea. In this video we also see the arrival of Brittany Ferries' "Bretange" followed in by the dredger "Shoalway" and the Wightlink Ferry "St. Cecilia". Then a short while later, Princess Cruises' "Crown Princess" made an appearance passing between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight after departing Southampton on her first UK cruise of the year - this being a 14-night Mediterranean voyage. Finally, we see "Deutschland" departing just after 19:00 hours heading off for her next port-of-call at Lisbon. Viewed from The Round Tower, Old Portsmouth.
