A very busy day in Southampton Docks on Tuesday 10th May 2016 with five Cruise Ships in port including the three CUNARD 'Queens'. Also seen are a number of commercial vessels sailing in or out of the port. We start off with the arrival of AIDA's "AIDAsol" at around 09:00 from Ferrol, Spain as part of her 13-night cruise from Gran Canaria to Hamburg. She docked at Berth 102 behind Celebrity Cruises' "Celebrity Eclipse". Next we see the arrival of the SS "Shieldhall" back from a brief drydocking session in Falmouth. She arrived at around 12:30. We then move to Weston Shore to watch the departures of the other cruise ships. We start off though with the RFA vessel "Hartland Point" heading for Marchwood and passing cargo ship "Hercules J" which was heading out. The first cruise ship to set sail was "Celebrity Eclipse" from the 'City' Terminal at 16:26 heading off on a 12-night cruise to Iceland & Ireland. Finally it was the turn of the three 'Queens' to depart. "Queen Elizabeth" was the first to get underway from the 'QEII' Terminal at 16:54 heading off on a short 4-night break to Hamburg. "Queen Victoria" also departed at 16:54 from the 'Mayflower' Terminal heading off on a 12-night cruise to the Canary Islands and Madeira. Last of all was "Queen Mary 2" who was delayed by the container ship "Nicolas Delmas" which was heading to Liverpool. "Queen Mary 2" departed from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 17:50 heading off on a 15-night Transatlantic Round-trip to New York. Viewed from Town Quay, Mayflower Park & Weston Shore.
