People are calling it gross, nasty, and wildly irresponsible, especially in a shared space where hundreds of guests and crew walk through every day.

A few tried to defend it, saying at least the diaper was inside a plastic bag, and others claimed they've seen worse left out with no bag at all.

Some passengers even argued that a cabin attendant told them to leave it in the hallway.

Most cruisers weren't buying that explanation, saying there's no way crew would instruct guests to leave biohazard waste in public corridors.
