We had the best time and I can't wait to share with you as much as I can! We are on the 7 night British Isles cruise from Southampton for DCL's 25th Anniversary and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Belfast, Northern Ireland Day 4- Greenock, Scotland Day 5 - Liverpool, England Day 6 - Cork (Cobh) Day 7 - Portland (Stonehenge) It's Embarkation Day!!! In this vlog we will be embarking the Disney Dream cruise ship from Southampton. We start off in the hotel room at the Novotel Southampton port. I show you what else is near by if you are staying the night before you cruise. We get the taxi over to the port and I show you arrivals at Southampton and check in. Then we board the Disney Dream! (I don't have footage of walking on as Disney were filming us!) I show you the incredible atrium! And how it's different to the Disney Magic. We go on a bit of a tour around the ship! We walk through the shops, we get to the theatre where we get a sneak peak of what's to come in entertainment! We head up to the top decks to tour the ship while it's quiet. We walk around Senses Spa, fitness centre, treatment rooms, rainforest room! Then we walk across top deck - I get emotional!! Show you the slide, pools, nemo reef, the adult only pools and hot tubs, Cove Cafe, quick service and then it's time for Cabana's lunch! I show you all the food they have to offer! Then we have a tour of Palo and Remy the adult only dining areas. We then go down to tour the adult only bars in the District. We go to Evolution, Pink wine and champagne bar, District lounge, Pub 687. We go to the Buena Vista theatre and then have a welcome drink at Skyline! Then it's time to check out our room! We are in a verandah room and I give you a room tour! I show you our silver castaway club gifts, gifts from Disney and gifts from Simon's family! Then it's time for the muster drill! We then head upstairs to the top decks for the Sail Away party!!! We then sail away and leave Southampton! We have a special meet and greet with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie which was incredible! We went to the shop to pick up any special Disney Dream merch! I got the Disney Dream pin. It was then time for the shimmering seas soiree! They had complimentary drinks and a show. We headed to 50s/60s trivia at Pub 687. (we didn't win!). Time for dinner! Our dining rotation was Animator's Palate! I show you the menu here and all the food we ordered. We went back to the room and we saw our towel animal and the turn down service! We also had a 25th Anniversary gift of a painting!! I leave the vlog here get ready for next week for the next day on board the Disney Dream!!
