Creator's Key Takeaways

the tendering process was actually really seamless and it was good for us to do the off peak times

Pao was really nice I think Pao is probably the Highlight

if you want to see the island you do have to book an Excursion there wasn't really much to see in the port

the fireworks are great and the fireworks nice to see and it's a very unique thing

Creator's Tips & Advice

Try to travel in non-busy times when going ashore on a tender port to save yourself a long line
Go into Google Maps and leave a pin on where you are when you arrive on a tender so you can make your way back if exploring by yourself
If you want to see the island, book an excursion as there isn't much to see in the port area

Over-planning excursionsDon't over plan; we made the mistake of booking two minute excursions on one cruise
Navigating tender ports independentlyUse Google Maps to pin your location and look for tall landmarks to find your way back

YouTube Video Description

Join Gary and I in Grand Cayman for the second port day of our Disney Treasure Western Caribbean cruise! We start the morning with breakfast at 1923 (one of the ship’s table-service restaurants), enjoying favourites like Mickey waffles and a build-your-own English muffin sandwich before disembarking at Georgetown. With no planned excursions today, we explore the local area at a relaxed pace, sharing tips for navigating tender ports and what to expect when heading ashore independently. ⭐️ Pre-Order my NEW Unofficial Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Dream Guides here: https://www.bit.ly/dreamguide2025 ⭐️ ✨🔑 JOIN THE MOOOORNING CLUB: https://www.patreon.com/adamhattan Unlock the magic within, with exclusive access to bonus content, a members Instagram, entries to competitions, welcome gifts and more (subject to membership tier). ✨ I’m Adam Hattan, a family-friendly theme park and vacation vlogger from the UK. Once ashore, we wander around Georgetown, pointing out local landmarks, shopping areas with familiar brands, and the Grand Cayman War Memorial. Although we opted for a relaxed day without a scheduled excursion, we highlight why booking one can make the most of your visit, especially if you want to explore the island’s key attractions. Back on board, we grab lunch at Marceline Market—noting how menus rotate throughout the cruise—and enjoy a sweet treat of raspberry tartlets and ice cream. We explore the ship’s open decks and stop by the Disney Vacation Club booth. In the afternoon, I join a behind-the-scenes walking tour of the Disney Treasure, where we learn fascinating details about the ship’s design, including hidden Mickeys, nods to Aladdin throughout the atrium, and fun facts about the construction process. We even spot a paw print on the Skat Cat Cafe piano—left in honour of an Imagineer’s cat, Jackson. The evening brings Pirate Night, and while we don’t attend the main deck party, we take in the fireworks at sea from the adults-only deck, enjoying a fantastic view without major crowds. Before that, we dine at Palo Steakhouse, where we’re seated in a cozy booth with customisable lighting. Our dinner includes highlights like gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, butternut squash agnolotti, and a decadent chocolate soufflé for dessert. We also try the non-alcoholic limoncello sorbet drink—a refreshing and sour treat that hits the spot! We end the night with the pirate-themed "Match Your Matey" game show in the Skipper Society, bringing lots of laughs and a bit of friendly competition for the couples on stage.
