"Disney Magic" maiden arrival into Portland - 23/05/2017

Whilst Portland maybe a considerably smaller port than Southampton and Portsmouth, it still gets is fair share of visiting Cruise Ships each year. Tuesday 23rd May 2017 saw the maiden call to the port of Disney Cruise Line's "Disney Magic" which was on a 15-night Transatlantic Voyage from Port Canaveral to Copenhagen. Portland was its first visit to a European port of the year and the ship is due to visit both Dover and Amsterdam before finishing at Copenhagen. "Disney Magic" is seen arriving into a rather misty Portland Harbour accompanied by a fire-tug as it was her first visit to the port. She arrived around 10:30am and is due to depart around 19:00 hours this evening. Viewed from the front of HM Prison Portland.
