About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

We are on the Majestic Princess and yes, some ships have a launderette (laundromat). Where you can do your own laundry. If you plan on doing your own laundry while on a cruise you will want to verify that your ship has an actual laundry room for you to use, again not all ships provide the ability for you to do your own laundry. Most ships have a token that charges your cabin or a direct room charge from your cabin key process for both the laundry detergent and the use of the machines. However, not all ships charge a fee. This is something you will want to check ahead of time. We were on the Cunard Queen Mary 2 World Voyage and the do it yourself laundry was free including the laundry soap. If you are doing your laundry yourself make sure you get back to your machine before the load stops. You do not want to be THE person that is holding up a machine with a completed cycle while others are in line waiting to wash or dry their clothes. We have seen passengers take people's clothes out of the washer or dryer and place them on the counter. It seems rude to me but, leaving a machine idle with your complete cycle, while others are waiting to do a load seems rude as well. All ships do provide a laundry service where they will do your laundry for you for a fee. Any questions or comments please leave down below we will get back to you. Thank you for coming along on our journey around the world.
