Dublin Winter Lights - The Ultimate Christmas Lights Trail! 🇮🇪

Welcome to our Dublin Winter Lights highlights! 🇮🇪 In this video, we're taking a walk through the city at Christmas to see the spectacular light installations. If you're looking for free things to do in Ireland this Christmas or planning a festive Dublin city break, this walkthrough is your ultimate guide! The Dublin Winter Lights festival completely transforms the city by lighting up some of the top tourist sights. We started our walk at the GPO on O'Connell Street, which features incredible digital light projections from international artists centred around moving and mesmerising themes. Next, we headed to Temple Bar Square to see the playful Xs & Os light sculpture, a giant version of the classic game. We then walked to Dublin Castle to see Flux, a brilliant kinetic light show by the artist collective SCALE in the upper courtyard, plus beautiful video mapping in the lower yard. One of the highlights of Dublin Winter Lights is the ticketed experience at Merrion Square Park. It features a Giant Immersive Kaleidoscope and stunning walk-through light installations that are perfect for families. Finally, we finished our evening in the Docklands to see the Céad installation at George's Dock, where 100 powerful beams of light illuminate the night sky. We really enjoyed our Christmas walk in the capital.
