Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway 'SUMMER STEAM GALA' - 22/07/2018

The Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway held its annual 'SUMMER STEAM GALA' on Sunday 22nd July 2018. For this year's event it was to be a special farewell to ELR 'Maxi-Lucky-Seven'-class 2-4-2 No.7 "Sandy River" and BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70055 "Rob Roy" which were bowing out for overhaul at the end of the day with a special 'LAKES EXPRESS' non-stop special. Eleven other steam locomotives were also in action at the event.
