Creator's Key Takeaways

romantic relationships they're very different on board cruise ships to a romantic relationship on land for three reasons

relationships on a cruise ship are so much more intense now that is every kind of relationship that's a friendship but especially a romantic relationship

you are always in the honeymoon phase on land there are realities that pop up that may be dimmed down the romance

it's really important to maintain a social life this is the same with relationships and land but it's easier on a ship to just eliminate everyone else from your life

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“Maintain a social life outside of your relationship to avoid becoming too dependent on one person.
βœ“Don't fixate on the outcome of the relationship; enjoy the time together as it is.
βœ“Be aware that you only know the cruise ship version of a person; there may be more to learn after the contract ends.

Hey sailors Being in a Relationship whilst working on a cruise ship is very different from being in a relationship on land. There are three main reasons for this: 1) You know you have a limited amount of time together because most likely, you are going to be from different countries with different contract lengths 2) Relationships are so much more intense because of the fact you are able to see each other more than you would on land and due to the fact you are away from your loved ones and the familiarity of home. 3) You are always able to stay in the β€˜honeymoon’ phase of the relationship because the realities of life don’t really apply to crew members. Now, this all sounds fine, there are some downsides to this which I will explain in today's video so if you are curious hat the best way is to approach a relationship onboard a cruise ship then be sure to watch the video where I will reveal everything I have learned over the four years I have worked on cruise ships.
