"Explorer of the Seas" & "Aurora" departing a very wet and windy Southampton - 18/10/2019

Very wet and windy conditions on Friday 18th October 2019 meant tug assistance was required for both Royal Caribbean International's "Explorer of the Seas" and P&O Cruises' "Aurora" as they made their respective departures from Southampton. "Explorer of the Seas" was the first to get underway from the City Cruise Terminal just after 16:30pm heading off on a 7-night cruise to Holland and France. "Aurora" was the second to depart from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at around 16:45pm heading off on a 2-night mini-cruise to Zeebrugge. Viewed from the Town Quay.
