Creator's Key Takeaways

So that was our experience of the Elon rainforest and that was a great experience, but there was no trekking, no hiking, no rock climbing, no diving, no swimming, and no waterfalls.

This itinerary was great and Puerto Rico in particular was a special place.

We hope you enjoyed the vlog and our day out in Puerto Rico and tune in again next week for more vlogs on this MSE World America in cruise.

YouTube Video Description

A DAY WELL SPENT IN PUERTO RICO Today we dock in San Juan, Puerto Rico for a fantastic passenger excursion! We visit El Yunque rainforest for somesight seeing in the rain forest and later explore the historic old fort. Join us as we explore the beauty and history of San Juan! In Puerto Rico's Northeast Region, El Yunque National Forest is the only tropical rainforest within the national forest system. It extends through eight municipalities: Río Grande, Luquillo, Canóvanas, Fajardo, Naguabo, Ceiba, Las Piedras and Juncos. At nearly 29,000 acres, it is one of the smallest in size, yet one of the most biologically diverse. Few landmarks are more representative of Puerto Rico's legacy within the Caribbean and the Americas than Castillo San Felipe del Morro, better known as El Morro. This fortification on the corner of the islet of Old San Juan now greets cruise ships as they leisurely sail in and out of the bay. During most of its nearly 500-year history, it was an important military outpost for Spain and later the United States. 00:00 - Introduction 00:31 - El Yunque Rain Forest Intro 02:51 - Yokahu Tower 05:19 - Bano Grande 06:09 - Outro & San Juan Walk 07:50 - San Juan Gate 08:18 - La Rogativa 09:18 - El Morro Fort Intro 12:14 - El Morro Light House 13:00 - Cemetary History 13:29 - Lunch Time & Puerto Rican Food 14:07 - Stroll Back to Ship 14:46 - Summary & Outro Follow us on social media: https://www.instagram.com/cruiselife22 https://www.tiktok.com/@itsacruiselife Music by Epidemic Sound Guitar Solo by Flute Loops.
