Subscribe to the Eat Sleep Cruise YouTube Channel if you love to travel and cruise the world! https://www.youtube.com/c/EatSleepCruise1?sub_confirmation=1 Celebrity Edge was the first cruise ship to sail from the U.S. in 15 months. This premium cruise ship offers several unique venues, multiple eateries, and innovative entertainment. Of course, we just had to be on this historic sailing. Did the cruise ship live up to our high standards? We share everything from this recent trip in our exclusive Celebrity Edge cruise review. If you enjoy the video, please make sure to give it a BIG THUMBS UP! -----CELEBRITY EDGE CRUISE REVIEW ------ 0:00 Introduction 0:30 Embarkation 1:40 Public Venues the Same 2:35 Plenty of Onboard Parties 3:20 Kids Not Wearing Masks 4:10 All the Cruise Activities 5:10 Shore Excursion Restrictions 6:10 No COVID-19 Testing 7:00 Felt Like a Regular Cruise -----CELEBRITY CRUISES CELEBRITY EDGE CRUISE REVIEW. ------ Arriving at Terminal 25 in Fort Lauderdale felt like the old days. With a few extra steps, and some social distancing, embarkation went smoothly. We were through the entire process, including showing our vaccination cards, in about 15 minutes. Disembarkation was slightly longer. We did self-check out and were greeted with a small line of passengers also waiting to disembark the ship. Though, the process was still only 20 minutes, from walking off the ship to getting an Uber. We are huge fans of Celebrity Edge's cruise ship pool deck. The resort pool offers a trendy atmosphere with plenty of loungers. With live music in the middle of the day, it was certainly the hub of the outdoor spaces. There is also the adults-only Solarium for those wanting a quieter pool day. The Rooftop Garden at the back of the ship offer even more outdoor space with tranquil vibes and live plants. When it comes to dining, Celebrity Edge has four different main dining rooms. So, for our Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Edge cruise review, we made sure to dine at all 4 restaurants. We were huge fans of them all, with the Italian Tuscan and French Normandie being our favorites. Each restaurant has an "Exclusive" menu, along with the signature menu that rotates each night. With Celebrity Select dining, you can make all your reservations ahead time. During our Celebrity Edge cruise, we dined at three specialty restaurants as well. These restaurants were also amazing and well worth the additional cover charges. The medium-rare steak at Fine Cut steakhouse melted in my mouth. The grilled filet at the Rooftop Garden Grill was fresh and hot of the grill. Even the Le Petit Chef dinner and show was a great, mixing digital artistry with a well-prepared 5 course meal. When it comes to daytime activities, Celebrity Edge offered all of the familiar activities. Unlike Adventure of the Seas, the cruise director Lauren and her staff hosted group activities ranging from dance classes, to bean bag competitions, and even relaxation coloring. Likewise, the cruise line offered a diverse array of nighttime activities. Along with a different evening show in the main theater, there were also several additional activities. These included game shows like Majority Rules or The Whisper Challenge occurring in The Club. There were also parties, including the very well-attended Silent Disco. For main theater entertainment, there was a balance of production shows and headliner entertainment. We enjoyed the production show Kaleidoscope, as well as featured soloist Charity Lockhart, the musical trio of Uptown, and illusionist Jason Bishop. We stayed in a sunset veranda stateroom and loved it. For us, it was a vast improvement over the lineβs infinite veranda. The cabin offered more interior space, all of the same upgrades and finishes, and a balcony that was twice the size of a standard balcony. As you can tell from our Celebrity Edge cruise review, we thought this cruise restart was a smashing success! ------READ OUR CRUISE REVIEW FOR CELEBRITY EDGE------ https://eatsleepcruise.com/celebrity-edge-cruise-ship-scorecard-review-2021/ ------TRENDING VIDEOS FROM EAT SLEEP CRUISE------ Adventure of the Seas Cruise Review: https://youtu.be/XscBI7XDxJA Royal Caribbean Cruise Restart Plans: https://youtu.be/49Jzl3BhxKM Complete Guide to Norwegian Prima: https://youtu.be/Vl14X3RnBkY Top Alaska Cruise Ships: https://youtu.be/rbMHoroChL0 Top New Cruise Ships 2021: https://youtu.be/XtqW0X5GrGE Make sure to SUBSCRIBE to our channel above to get the latest cruise tips, cruise reviews, packing guides, port guides, travel tips, and more.
