It is our first port day on our Carnival Mardi Gras cruise and we are in beautiful Cozumel! And we have some friends with us... Dee and Jay from ParoDeeJay. What are our plans? Well, after we take a thousand pictures in port, we jump in a taxi and head to Occidental Cozumel Allegro. This is an All-Inclusive resort where you can fly over and spend time, but we are here on a day pass. It is a beautiful resort and we are having perfect, but very hot, weather! Blue sky with fluffy white clouds... perfect! The water looks very inviting but beware of the rocks! You really need water shoes here and, of course, ours are on the ship! So after bobbing around for a while, we head to the pools. The resort serves lunch beachside and the food was pretty good... the shredded pork was really good! After lunch, we move to the adults-only pool and pretty much had it to ourselves for the rest of the day. It was a great day with some great friends!
