While on the #VirginVoyages #ValiantLady on the French Daze and Ibiza Nights itinerary, we only took one shore excursion, or as VV calls it, a Shore Thing: the "Culture in Valldemossa and lunch in Deia" tour. We were blown away by the scenery from Palma and the charm of Valldemossa as we explore the museum of Frederic Chopin in the royal residence turned monastery there and take in a piano concert of Chopin music. But the highlight was the incredible lunch served at La Residencia, which the staff cheerfully adapted for our Gluten Free and Dairy Free diet. We loved the almonds of Mallorca being featured in almond cakes, almond milks and almond ice creams. We would love to go back to Mallorca soon! Want to know why we eat this way?
