Creator's Key Takeaways

Today I'm going to show you what you can do if you get off the ship with no plan.

We are here the first week of July, and it must be the perfect time as they are absolutely gorgeous, and we could not be more blessed with our weather today.

It is sobering to walk around among the graves, all saying the same date of death, April 15, 1912.

The Halifax Seapport is a great place to spend a little time enjoying the views of the harbor, looking across at the Citadel and just strolling around and people watching.

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“Book a taxi instead of the hop-on-hop-off bus for a more flexible and cost-effective tour.
βœ“Wait to get off the ship until after the initial rush of passengers with booked excursions.
βœ“Spend time at the Halifax Public Gardens for a calm and beautiful experience.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

Going to Halifax, Nova Scotia? You can explore this city and cruise port area without an organized excursion! There is a Hop-on-Hop-Off bus, but that can get expensive AND crowded. We booked a taxi instead and visited the areas we most wanted to see: The Citadel, the Titanic Cemetery and the gorgeous, huge public gardens. Then I spent some time wandering the waterfront to look around. This is a beautiful cruise stop, and I take you along with me as I explore.
