We learned to do Thai Chi on the top of the cruise ship while we cruised past the beautiful karsts that fill Halong Bay. After our class we were served a light breakfast before getting on the smaller boat to visit a cave inside one of the limestone karsts. We left for the cave at 7 a.m.. Thankfully, Signature Cruises makes it a point to get there early. By the time we had finished exploring the cave, a lot more cruise ships had showed up. The cave was packed with tourists! We were lucky to get to experience the cave with only a few other people there. After visiting the cave we had the opportunity to kayak back to the ship. We took the long way back and circled the island that held the cave. Being in a kayak so low to the water really helped us to appreciate the massive size of the limestone mountains that jut out of the water. After returning the ship, we were served a delicious brunch as we cruised back to the port. Sadly, shortly after finishing brunch we arrived back to the port where we had to disembark the cruise ship. It was sad saying bye to ship and the amazing staff.
