Are you aware of the fact that the Western Coast of Norway is relatively mild due to the Gulf Stream? And, that Hurtigruten has ships leaving every day of the year plying the Western Coast? Not "cruise ships" in the Celebrity, NCL, Carnival vernacular but "working ships" who make 34 individual stops within a 7-day trip at all hours of the day and night. What better chance to hunt for the Northern Lights. Pick unusual land excursions and do something a little out of the ordinary. Dog sledding... Ice/SnowHotel...bring it on!
